Don't Despise The Small Start

Have you ever looked at what you're doing and wondered, "Does this even matter?" In this episode of 10 Minutes In-Courage-Meant Just for You, we’re gently reminded that small doesn’t mean insignificant. Anchored in Zechariah 4:10 and Luke 16:10, we explore how God delights in beginnings, no matter how quiet, humble, or hidden they may feel.

The world applauds big numbers, big impact, and fast growth. But God’s kingdom moves differently. It often starts with a mustard seed—a whisper of a dream, a quiet act of obedience, a hidden act of faithfulness. And He sees it all. He celebrates it all. He isn’t waiting for you to go viral to validate your value.

This episode is for the one faithfully showing up in small ways—praying when no one sees, writing when no one reads, believing when no one understands. If that’s you, be encouraged: your small start is not invisible to God. In fact, it’s often the seed of something eternal.

So today’s reminder is simple but powerful: keep going. Keep watering the dream. Keep showing up. God rejoices not just in the result—but in the very beginning of the work.
